Five-Star Rating
Ocean City, Maryland is proud to announce our beautiful beach has been given a five-star rating for water quality and safety from the Natural Resources Defense Council, one of only 18 beaches in the country to receive a five-star rating.

Ocean City Hot Summer Nights Concert Series
Summer sizzles with great music in Ocean City and two very special concerts are coming to the Ocean City Convention Center – The Volunteer Jam on August 5 featuring The Charlie Daniels Band and .38 Special, and KC & the Sunshine Band and The Trammps on August 6. Tickets for both shows are now on sale at the convention center box office and through TicketMaster.

White Marlin Open
One of the most exciting events of the summer is fast approaching. The 35th annual White Marlin Open comes to Ocean City August 4-8. “The World’s Largest Billfish Tournament” brings anglers from across the country to compete for millions of dollars in prize money. Spectators can catch the excitement at the nightly weigh-ins at Harbour Island Marina. www.whitemarlinopen.com

Family Movie Night & More
One of the summer’s biggest hits in Ocean City is Family Movie Nights on the beach at 27th St. From 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. every Monday and Friday through August 15, families gather for fun activities and a movie right on the beach, all for free. View movie schedule

Still More Fun For Free
In addition to free movies, the Town of Ocean City is pleased to offer a full line-up of free events and activities. Step out for an evening concert on the beach, try the Family Beach Olympics or gather around an evening bonfire. Get a taste of the Sundaes in the Park family concert series. Take part in an educational program at the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum and head to Sunset Park for a concert by the bay.

Latin Festival Night
Ocean City’s beautiful Sunset Park will be the scene of Latin Festival Night on Monday, August 25. From 6 to 10 p.m. the traditional Latin big band music of Orquesta La Leyenda will fill the air. While the music plays, delicious Latin foods and a beer and wine garden are offered.

Labor Day Weekend Concerts
The free fun flows into Labor Day Weekend with the annual free Labor Day Weekend Concerts on the Beach Saturday and Sunday, August 30-31. On Saturday catch America’s number one authentic Motown band, Dr. K’s Motown Revue. Then on Sunday it’s time to enjoy Separate Ways, the Ultimate Journey Tribute Show.

Sunfest Shines in September
Mark your calendars for Ocean City’s fantastic fall kick-off celebration, Sunfest 2008. Experience four full days of music, arts, crafts and fabulous food Sept. 18-21 at the Inlet Lot and beach. Step Back in Time
A seaside adventure awaits visitors at the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum. Located on the Boardwalk at the Inlet, the museum is housed in a historic life-saving station and is filled unique exhibits. When in Ocean City, save on gas and leave the driving to us by riding the bus. For just $2 you can ride the bus up and down the town all day long. The conveniently located West Ocean City Park & Ride also offers a great option with free parking and a $1 shuttle bus ride into town.
